The Siva Vishnu Temple of Ottawa warmly invites all devotees to participate in the sacred observance of Aadi Krithigai, one of the most auspicious festivals dedicated to Lord Murugan.
Aadi Krithigai is celebrated on the Krithigai Nakshatra during the Tamil month of Aadi and is revered as a day of special grace for worshipping Lord Murugan.
As a special highlight of this year’s celebration, for the very first time at the Siva Vishnu Temple of Ottawa—and the first of its kind in Ottawa—a beautifully crafted Silver Seval Kodi (Silver Rooster Flag) will be ceremoniously offered to Lord Murugan. Following the Special Alankaram, the Silver Seval Kodi will adorn the Lord, offering devotees a rare and divine Darshan of Lord Murugan in this magnificent form.
