Grama Santhi
The Puja is performed to remove troubles, misfortunes, and negative influences that may have affected an entire village / town where the temple is located.
Vasthu Santhi
This Puja is performed to remove defects or negative influences from a piece of land and to sanctify it before construction or consecration. The holy space is prepared on the land using water and fire. Vasthu Padam consisting of 53 divisions is drawn, eight sacred positions (Padams) are marked to represent the eight directions.
Pravesha Bhali
In this Puja, offerings are made to appease and balance the energies in all eight directions. In this ritual, the 8 spirits **Yaksha, Rakshasa, Baishasa, Bhoota, Brahma-Rakshasa, Kashali, Kali and Bhairava** are respectfully invoked and offered service, ensuring that no negative influences remain on the site.
At the same time, divine guardians representing the eight directions—**Indra (East), Agni (Southeast), Yama (South), Niruruthi (Southwest), Varuna (West), Vayu (Northwest), Kubera (North) and Ishana (Northeast)**—are worshipped to bless the land and all who visit the temple.

Participating and witnessing in this Pooja restores harmony, health & prosperity to the whole community. This ceremony also ensures peace, spiritual protection for the temple's location.
Classical Performance of the Day
Urvi Chiruvella began her classical journey in Carnatic music at the age of four and is Ottawa's very own talented young singer. Over the years, Urvi has given numerous solo performances across Canada, including at the South Indian Cultural Association's Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival and for the Ottawa Telugu and Tamil Associations, to name a few.
She was also one of the performers in the Zee Telugu Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Grand Finale in India. In addition, Urvi was a finalist in the first-ever Canada Super Singers competition held in Toronto.
Urvi's rendition of Annamacharya keertanas for the TTD Srinivasa/Balaji Kalyana Mahotsavam held in Ottawa in 2023 was broadcast live on Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's SVBC TV channel. Earlier in 2025, Urvi sang kritis for the revered Yadadri Devasthanam's Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam in Ottawa, led by the chief priest from the devasthanam board in Telangana, India.
