A New Chapter Begins: Bhoomi Pooja for Our Temple

We are thrilled to share the news we have all been waiting for with our community!
Our temple has secured a beautiful and spacious new location in the Richmond area, creating a sacred space dedicated to worship, spiritual growth, and cultural enrichment for generations to come.

On Sunday, June 15, 2025, we celebrated a momentous milestone with an overwhelming turnout for the Groundbreaking Ceremony and Open House of our new temple.

The day was marked by several auspicious rituals, including Ganapathi, Lakshmi, and Navagraha Homams, as well as Gho Pooja, Bhoomi Pooja, and Vasthu Pooja, invoking divine blessings and laying a spiritually sound foundation.

In addition to the pujas, we hosted an Open House and Site Walkthrough for all attendees. We shared status updates on the idols, which are currently being prepared in India, and provided a review of the internal temple drawings, offering a glimpse into the vision for the completed space.

This was more than just the start of a construction project — it marked the foundation of a spiritual and cultural legacy that will serve our community for years to come.

Renovations are now underway to build the temple premises, install the sacred idols, and carry out all related activities, with completion expected by mid-August 2025.
We look forward to officially opening the temple in late August or early September 2025, depending on progress.
