A Sacred Offering to Lord Subramanya
The Siva Vishnu Temple of Ottawa invites you to the Subramanya Pooja, a sacred offering to Lord Subramanya – the Divine Warrior and Radiant Son of Shiva and Shakti. Join us in devotion as we worship Lord Subramanya, the embodiment of divine power, wisdom, and youthful radiance.
This special Pooja for Valli-Devasena Samedha Subramanya aims to invoke the awakening of:
Icchā Shakti – the will to pursue the path of truth
Jñāna Shakti – the wisdom to discern the real from the unreal
Kriyā Shakti – the strength to act with courage and devotion
His Vetrivel (divine spear) pierces through the darkness of ignorance, protecting and uplifting all sincere devotees. As we gather in prayer, our collective devotion generates powerful vibrations that purify the mind, uplift the soul, and shield us from all forms of internal (Eethi) and external (Bheethi) negativity. The all-powerful son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti, commander of the divine hosts, will bless us with fearlessness, clarity, and righteous energy. Om Saravanabhava!
