Why is Aadi Pooram special?
• It is a celebration of the Divine Feminine and the nurturing power of the Mother Goddess.
• It is considered an auspicious day to seek blessings for prosperity, marriage, fertility, and family well-being.
• Many devotees offer silk sarees, glass bangles, flowers, turmeric, and kumkum to the Goddess as symbols of devotion and auspiciousness.

Aadi Pooram reminds us that the Divine Mother is the source of strength, compassion, wisdom, and abundance. By worshipping Her with sincerity and devotion, devotees seek Her grace to remove obstacles, protect their families, and illuminate their lives with peace and prosperity.
Special Offering
On this sacred occasion, devotees are invited to offer a new saree and glass bangles - available for purchase in the temple, to the Divine Mother as an expression of devotion and gratitude. The saree and bangles will be offered on the Goddess and, after receiving Her divine blessings, will be returned to the devotees to take home as prasadam for future auspicious use.
It is believed that preserving and wearing these blessed offerings on special occasions invokes the Divine Mother’s grace for prosperity, marital harmony, family well-being, and protection.
