Significance

Vaikāsi Viśākam is the sacred festival marking the Viśākam birth star of Lord Murugan in the month of Vaikāsi. It celebrates His divine descent as the embodiment of wisdom, courage, and dharma. The day symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and blesses devotees with clarity, strength, protection, and spiritual growth.

5:30pm onwards - Milk Pot offering, Kavadi (Kavadi is a sacred offering carried by devotees to surrender their burdens and seek Lord Murugan’s grace.A devotional vow where devotees carry a decorated Kavadi to express gratitude, humility, and deep surrender to Lord Murugan ) & Rose Water offering by devotees for Lord Murugan

6:30pm - Special Bharata Natyam performance
