SRI AYYAPPAN MAKARA JYOTHI CELEBRATIONS
Significance
Makara Jyothi marks the divine appearance of Lord Ayyappa, symbolizing light, dharma, and spiritual awakening. Observing this sacred occasion with bhajans and collective chanting helps purify the mind, remove obstacles, and invoke divine grace.

Program Schedule & Activities ✨
The event begins with Ganapati Prarthana , prayers to Lord Ganesha, seeking blessings for an obstacle-free and auspicious celebration .
18 Padi Puja - A symbolic worship of the sacred 18 steps of Sabarimala, representing spiritual discipline, purity and journey towards enlightenment.
Sri Ayyappan Bhajan & Namavali & 108 Saranam Chanting - Devotees offer melodious bhajans and chant the holy names of Lord Ayyappa, and the powerful chanting of “Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa” invoking protection, inner strength and divine grace.
The program concludes with the radiant Ayyappan Deepa Aradhana offering light to Lord Ayyappa and seeking blessings of peace, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment.
Devotees are encouraged to attend in traditional attire and chant together: “Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa”.
